April 2001 saw the formation of Spree who soon began to cause a storm. Even on paper, Spree seem like a good proposition." Taken from Knowledge Magazine (Dec 2002).

Spree are a three piece drum and bass band consisting of Simon Sheldon, Antoine Revoire and Suzanne Savage. Spree were formed from the ashes of Solarise, who as a prolific live act played as far a field as the first ever Drum and Bass festival, France. The three came together purely by chance, a meeting of like minded souls on a musical journey merging the open endedness and beauty of Jazz with the new beat patterns of drum and bass to create their own unique laid back yet powerful energising sound.

In a short amount of time Spree have established themselves as rising players within the local club and music scene and March 2002 saw them make their first visit stateside performing at the prestigious SXSW festival Austin, Texas.

2003 also saw Spree nominated 'Best Live Act' at the presitgous Knowledge Awards.
